This year we are excited to offer the following events

Local businesses, community members, county residents… this one’s for you.
Registration is open for the Lake Views & Gumbo People’s Choice Cook-Off, and if your shop, office, crew, neighbor, sister, brother, uncle… has ever claimed they make the best gumbo… now’s the time to step up.
No 411 or judges to argue with here.
The crowd eats.
The crowd votes.
Bragging rights are earned.
We’ve partnered with T-Johnny’s Seafood & Cajun Market – Oklahoma, who’ll be on site with their famous jambalaya (and maybe boudin balls 👀), plus the commercial rice cooker to keep taster kits moving with help from the Lions Club.
Translation: smooth setup, good food, no excuses.
✨ AND we’re currently accepting vendors and food trucks.
This event is open to the public — which means people will be there to shop, eat, check out cars, and enjoy the afternoon at the lake. If you’re a small business, boutique, maker, food vendor, or organization wanting visibility… this is your crowd.
Not cooking? Come hungry.
Grab a taster kit, sample the gumbo, shop local vendors, and help decide who takes home People’s Choice.

Lake Views Car Show is rolling in on April 25, 2026 — and whether you’ve got a fully restored classic, a lifted truck that turns heads, a sleek modern build, or something loud and proud… we want to see it.
This isn’t a “park and disappear” kind of show.
It’s a full-afternoon, lakefront, community event with BBQ smoke in the air and people walking the rows all day long.You bring the ride. We’ll bring the crowd.
Trophies. Bragging rights. And a whole lot of conversation starters.

Last year, we shook things up and made the move from KCBS to RCOA, and let’s just say it got people talking.
While the last-minute change meant a few teams bowed out, it also brought a whole new crowd ready to compete, cook, and show serious support for the Lions Club mission.
We’re running it back and turning up the heat

We’re calling on last year’s teams, new teams, and any community pitmasters who think they’ve got the wings and ribs to back it up.
